Tax Payment Information

There will be no tax collection at the Potter Village Hall. Tax payments may be paid in person at the Calumet County treasurer’s office or sent to the Calumet County Treasurer, 206 Court Street, Chilton, WI 53014.


Village of Potter Dog Licenses

All dogs in the Village of Potter shall be licensed.  All dogs will have all required vaccinations.  Please have your dog vaccinated before applying for a license.  Changes for licenses are $3.00 for spayed or neutered, and $8.00 for others.  A late fee of $5.00 shall be assessed to the owner of each dog, 5 months of age or older who fails to obtain a license by April 1st.  Licenses are issued by Village Treasurer, Dennis Gruett.  Please provide proof of vaccinations along with payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope & send to Village of Potter, c/o Dennis Gruett, W1374 Schneider Rd, Hilbert, WI  54129



Beginning November 16, 2015, 95 gallon recycling totes will be delivered to residences in Calumet County.  Recycling will no longer need to be separated.  Glass, tin, paper, etc will be placed in the new totes.  Please DO NOT place any recycling in plastic bags.  Do not include any plastic bags in the totes.  The recycling bags will no longer be provided.  Many more items can be recycled.  Please see the listing included on the back of this newsletter and with the new totes.


Cleaning Sidewalks

It’s that time of year again.  Winter has come and with it comes snow and ice.  We ask that all sidewalks be cleaned promptly after snow falls.  Residents are urged to help their neighbors clean their sidewalks if they are unable to do it themselves.
